The Button Box Traveling Shadow Puppet Theatre will be performing at 6 and again at 7  and katie green the storyteller at 8 inside the store. free and suitable for adults and children, however children must be accompanied by an adult, please. thanks to everyone for a great event!

04/01/06 April Fool's Button Party - sally cragin - author and publisher of Button Magazine will host a poetry reading afternoon from 1:00-3 during regular store hours. Featured readers at 1:30. If you wish to read, sign up is at 1:00 - please be considerate and limit yourselves to 2 poems. You may also sign up by calling the store any time before the day. great day of poetry - can't wait for the next one!

03/11/06 World Premiere of the Button Box Traveling Shadow Puppet Theatre. This will be a performance/workshop, so come and be entertained. bring a friend, bring your inner child, bring your favorite shadow puppet props and ideas. sally cragin's brainchild with help from a few friends. thanks everybody! What a great event and special thanks to the smith family for their contributions and creations.

01/01/06 New Years Day party and 1st anniversary party - join us for nibbles and drinks, live music and fun stuff from 12pm to 4pm. see what's new including our featured artist melissa richards with a unique collection of her photo collage images in unique mountings! what a turnout! congrats to melissa on all her sales!

11/20/05 art opening - 'a world full of light: Landscapes by victor dupuis' champagne and chocolate reception from 1pm to 4pm. show runs through dec. 17th. great to see you all at this event - sorry about the chocolate hangover. congratulations to victor who sold 4 paintings from this event!

7/1/05 join us for the Civic Days block party from 4 - 9 pm. We'll have the famous magic rug for the kids to play on and a portraitist creating original, 30 minute portraits on the spot! The Fitchburg Cultural Alliance will be set up here and will be raffling off a number of wonderful goodies! what a great evening (until the rain) - thanks everyone for a great time!

4/16/05 and 4/23/05 open house featuring prints and framing supplies from the Mari-Art framing gallery that closed 10 years ago! mary solomito, the owner when the business closed 10 years ago, will be on hand to greet her old friends and customers. stop in to see our other extraordinary work from regional artists. light refreshments will be served. thank you everyone for a great event! mary was so happy to see some of her old customers.
